ОБРАЗЫ ЛЮБВИ В АНГЛОЯЗЫЧНОМ ДЖАЗОВОМ ДИСКУРСЕ

Аннотация:
Цель настоящей работы - изучить, какие когнитивные признаки лежат в основе образного слоя концепта «love / любовь» и какие виды метафор использованы в англоязычном джазовом дискурсе (в частности, в песенных текстах Луи Армстронга) для воссоздания авторских представлений о любви. Переживаемые влюбленным человеком эмоции и чувства подвергаются метафорической концептуализации, результатом которой является наличие в концепте «love / любовь» образного слоя. Поскольку концепт характеризуется нежесткой структурой, отнесение отдельных когнитивных признаков к его образной составляющей достаточно условно в силу того, что они нагружены дополнительными ценностными или понятийными смыслами, сопряженными в индивидуальном или коллективном сознании с образами. В англоязычном джазовом дискурсе метафоры, составляющие образный слой концепта «love / любовь», многообразны и различаются по степени сложности образа, которому уподобляется любовь. Метафоры могут быть простыми, построенными на одном перцептивном ощущении (аудитивном, вкусовом, ольфакторном и т.д.). Однако гораздо чаще встречаются сложные метафоры, в создании которой задействованы частные образы, получаемые от разных органов чувств. Образные слой концепта «love / любовь» представлен разными видами метафор: милитаристской (love is war), астрономической (love is the Orb of night), метеорологической (love is a wind; love is summer), мифорелигиозной (love is magic; love is paradise), флороморфной (love is a flower), аудитивной (love is music), психосоматической (love is a patient; love is madness) и метафорой стихий (love is fire). В силу сложности своей структуры данные метафоры связывают образный слой концепта с ценностным и понятийным. В англоязычном джазовом дискурсе образы любви вербализуются посредством лексических единиц различных тематических групп (в зависимости от вида метафоры), отличающихся стилистической окраской, а также посредством аллюзий на народные пословицы, мифологические и библейские сюжеты.

The purpose of the present article is to study what cognitive attributes form the image layer of the concept "love / любовь" and what types of metaphors are used in the English jazz discourse (in Louis Armstrong’s songs) to convey the author's ideas of love. Emotions and feelings experienced by a person in love underwent metaphorical conceptualization, which results in the existence of the image layer in the concept "love / любовь". Since the concept is characterized by a non-rigid structure, the attribution of individual cognitive features to its image component is quite conditional. The fact is that cognitive attributes are usually loaded with additional value or conceptual meanings associated in the individual or collective consciousness with images. In the English jazz discourse the metaphors that make up the image layer of the concept "love / любовь" are diverse and differ in the degree of complexity of the image that love is likened to. Metaphors can be simple, based on a single perceptual impression (auditory, gustatory, olfactory, etc.). However, more often there are complex, in their creation simpler images obtained from different senses are involved. The image layer of the concept "love / любовь" is represented by different types of metaphors: militaristic (love is war), astronomical (love is the Orb of night), meteorological (love is a wind; love is summer), mytho-religious (love is magic; love is paradise), floromorphic (love is a flower), auditory (love is music), psycho-somatic (love is a patient; love is madness) and metaphor of the elements (love is fire). Due to the complexity of their structure, these metaphors connect the image layer of the concept with the value and conceptual ones. In the English jazz discourse images of love are verbalized through lexical units of various thematic groups (depending on the type of metaphor) that differ in stylistic colouring, as well as through allusions to sayings, mythological and biblical stories.
